The DSO proudly presents singer-songwriter Ben Folds in concert with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra with conductor, Rei Hotoda for one night only at the Meyerson Symphony Center. Best known for songs such as Brick, Song for the Dumped, Rockin’ the Suburbs, The Luckiest and countless others. Ben Folds is set to bring his signature blend of humor, songwriting and musicality to the Meyerson stage.

Folds’ solo career has been going non-stop since the 2001 release of his debut solo album,Rockin’ the Suburbs, which has sold more than half a million copies worldwide. He has collaborated and toured with such artists as John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Ben Kweller and Ben Lee, as well as performed with the Boston Pops, Baltimore Symphony and Nashville Symphony, among others. Folds’ latest studio release, Way to Normal, was released in September of 2008, and includes the artist’s signature stamp of exuberant and raucous crowd-pleasing music.
