Rei visits the John Quincy Adams Elementary School

Rei was the featured presenter during Career Day at the John Quincy Adams Elementary School. The Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Assistant Conductor, Rei Hotoda enjoys serving the community by sharing her love of music to the students who are not exposed to classical music. She is committed to educational excellence  by sharing the dynamics of her career. “She delighted students with the art and beauty of music which inspired them to hear music in a different way. She played the piano and taught new ways of experiencing music with orchestra renditions from a CD.  In addition, Conductor Hotoda gave students an opportunity to conduct as the audience sang.” - Tamara Mays, Counselor.

“Both students and teachers alike highly praised Conductor Hotoda’s presentation. They expressed profound gratitude that she was able to visit our school.  She earned applause for her willingness to take time to listen to student inquiries and answer their questions. These efforts served to generate positive self esteem and encouraged students to strive for their dreams and goals.

Our students are very important assets- as they represent tomorrow’s future. The important effort of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra to promote awareness and appreciation of the arts in our community. ” JQA Career Week 092
