The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra

This concert features Benjamin Britten’s beloved Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra and other selections which highlight the families of instruments, presented in a concert designed exclusively for our youngest concert-goers. Additional works will include Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man and music by Mussorgsky and Mendelssohn. Lively demonstrations by DSO principal musicians will also be featured.
